At over 90 miles long, Lake of the Ozarks offers a wide range of marine activities and services to residents and visitors alike, no matter what your range of preferences might encompass. Unlike other lakes, Bagnell Dam is privately owned, and the lake is not used for flood control, meaning the lake level rarely fluctuates more that 5 feet, and that privately owned land can be developed right up to the shoreline and beyond. This grants easy access to the Lake from homes and condos on the Lake that will predominantly have their own dock, and also allows businesses to accommodate lakefront traffic right up to the shoreline.
