The Eastern portion of the Lake of the Ozarks is the most bustling and active part of the Lake area, and Highway 54 is populated with assorted businesses and activities throughout Osage Beach and Lake Ozark, including the Lake Regional Hospital, and a full K-12 school district. Bordering the main channel from the Bagnell Dam through the Glaize Arm, and including the Village of Four Seasons and Margaritaville peninsulas, the east side of the Lake tends to attract a majority of the tourist influx, yet tranquil coves are plentiful, and a portion of the Lake of the Ozarks State Park lies just a little farther east, replete with the serenity of nature, and residential opportunities away from trafficked areas, yet still with easy accessibility.
